Terms & Conditions

Once the details about your request has been determined after an in-person or phone consultation, you will receive a quote for the total due.  A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the quoted amount is required to begin your project.  Your remaining balance is due only upon completion and approval of your content. 

On average, projects are anticipated to be completed within 2-4 weeks.  Hours are recorded and any remaining balance is added to the initial quote at $30 per hour.  Weekly status reports regarding content, time logs, updates, etc., will be sent from Creator to Client.  Traveling fees are determined by distance.  Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by Creator.

Monthly Maintenance 

$65 monthly for your first 12 months.  Monthly Maintenance includes content monitoring and any formatting or general updates recommended by Creator.   You are granted one update request each month including: 

  • Image updates
  • Description or information updates
  • Sales or specials information added to pages

Premium Requests +$25

  • New site page
  • Update layout
  • Mobile theme 
  • New theme

Any additional Client requests will be invoiced as such and added to that billing period.  If you opt in for Monthly Maintenance assistance, fees begin thirty (30) days from the date of invoice initiation.  Any late payments will incur a late fee of 10%.  Upon the Creators discretion, non-payment may result in forfeiting content with a buy back option.  

This service is to renew annually.  Renewal fees will be added to your bill at the end of your first 12 months.  You have the option to buy out your site and domain upon request.  Quote provided by Creator.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

According to Google, "There are no guaranteed SEO services, rankings or results."  No budget or ad spend amount will guarantee your position online.  SEO is a constant game of hard work, content creation and keyword usage.  However, we are skilled at what we do and know the steps to fully optimize and monetize your business listing.

Social Media Management

 By opting in for Social Media Management, HOBS requires full creative control as a single administrator.  Accessibility is limited to the Creator for tracking purposes.  Planning, execution and weekly ad spend will be discussed with Client.  Client payments will be tailored to their budget on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis.  Your Project Initiation fee includes your custom 5-Week Social Media Marketing Plan plus your Priority Surge Session to further discuss the details of your project, up to 2 hours.  Any late payments will incur a late fee of 10%.  Upon the Creators discretion, non-payment may result in forfeiting content with a buy back option.

Website Design and Revamp

Accessibility of web site during construction is limited to the designer until completed.  Designer shall treat all projects as confidential.  Company may, at its sole option, terminate any or all work outstanding, or any portion thereof, immediately upon written notice.  All payments are forfeited. 

Website hosting platform is determined by Creator.  Sites being revamped are done so through Client's current hosting platform.  Upon completion, instructions on relaunching website, transferring domain or information relevant to revamping will be provided to 


All Specials & Promotions

If you are taking advantage of any website special or promotion, please be advised HOBS is responsible for designing your website only.  Upon completion, your website will be  transferred to you as the site owner and you will be responsible for payments.  You will receive full instructions on launching your website, creating and purchasing your domain, and choosing the right monthly or yearly plan (see Monthly Maintenance section above). 

Promotional Material

Content and material such as logos, flyers, advertising graphics, brochures, social media posts, etc., requires full payment to begin project.  Up to 2 revisions only (ONLY  1 for special promotions).  Additional revision requests will be invoiced at $25 or may require a consultation to be invoiced as a new project. 


Submit your inquiry via the Contact page.  Be sure to include information regarding your desired online platform and details about your request.  We will contact you to confirm your project and provide you with an estimate.  Once the outline has been approved, you will be sent a copy of the first draft where you MUST provide detailed feedback so we are able to revise the draft and complete your project.  Additional revisions will be invoiced at $25 per request.


By accepting the quote, you agree to and accept the terms and conditions of Higher Optics Business Services.  Acceptance can be verbal, by email, payment of Initiation, or signing a quote.  

We may, at any time, and at our sole discretion, modify these Terms and Conditions, with or without notice to the User.  It is the responsibility of the User to periodically check this site for any modifications to the Terms and Conditions.  Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting. Your continued use of our Service and this Site following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of these modified Terms.  Revised 1/11/19.
